2 Important Wires/Loops Control Design:

RAAYOO L002 backup camera with 2 small wires/Loops (White and Green color).

*Cut the white loop to cancel the guidelines if you don’t need it.

*Cut the green loop: the mirror image (for rear view) at default will change to be non-mirror image (for front/side view).

Look backward, keep the green loop; look forward, cut the green loop.

Detailed instruction:

1. If you use it as a backup camera with guidelines, please keep both white and green wire/loop, because this camera is a back up. camera with guideline/parking line as DEFAULT;

2. If you use it as a backup camera without guidelines, please only cut the white loop, keep the green wire/loop;

3.If you use it as a front/side view camera with guidelines, please only cut the green loop, keep the white wire/loop;

4.If you use it as a front/side view camera without guidelines, please cut both white and green wire/loop;

*Please power off the vehicle and power on again after you cut the small loops, then the image should be correct.

*Note: if the green/white wire is cut, it can't connect again, so please make sure you want a reverse camera or forward looking camera before cut it.

Notes:

*This RAAYOO L002 car camera is perfect for REAR, FRONT and SIDE view, please confirm if you use it as front/side view camera or rear view camera before install them, then cut the corresponding wire to get the correct image, don’t forget to power off the vehicle and power on again to covert the image successfully. Before routing, please test this car camera with your car radio, if there is no image on the screen, other than check the camera, please also check display setting as well. You can use another devices with RCA connector, such as TV to check if the camera works.

*If connect this RAAYOO L002 backup/front/side view camera to a FACTORY RADIO, please separately order a suited Harness & Programmer to complete installation, because different RADIO needs different Harness & Programmer to work together, and also check if your radio support RCA video input.

* If your head unit with a reverse triggering wire, normally it is a purple/white, blue/white or pink color wire, please find it and connect it with the extension wire's red triggering wire well(small short red wire at the end of RCA/AV video cable).

*The working principle of the vehicle backup camera is very simple, it will transmit the video signal to your monitor the moment it gets power. When your monitor cannot display the image, please make sure whether you get the power to the camera successfully, and also make sure that the monitor receives the power and the video signal. If we get power to the backup camera from the back lights, the backup camera only works when you're backing up, so the backup camera will only provide a video signal to your monitor when you're backing up, and your monitor will show the rear view image when you're in reverse. If you get constant power to your camera, it will work all the time.

*If the camera is mounted upside down, the guidelines on image will be upside down too, please rotate the camera to get the correct installation direction.

*Guideline is for reference only, please use the mirrors for position when backup.

Get a Better View Angle

Car bumpers is a good postion for flush mount installation, it is easy to drill a hole with drilling bit. Before drilling a hole, please seriously check and test to find where is the best position to mount this camera If you want to get a perfect view angle, please rotate the middle housing part of the camera (maximum 360 degrees) or move the bracket (maximum 90 degrees) to get the best view angle.

L002 backup camera supports Normal and Mirror image. You can install it in front/rear of your car to avoid any blind spot, the default is mirror image for rear view（keep the green wire).

Easy to Install

1.Find a proper location to mount this reverse camera.

2.Connect the power wire of camera to your reversing light,postive to reversing light+,negative to revesing light - or ground.

3.Connect the video cable of camera to the head unit of your vehilce. Note:(1)Please test the backup camera before rounting the video cable(2) Connect trigger A with B if your head unit with a trigger wire A, if not, no need connect them.

Important tips for customers:

Easy Installation

Due to some areas is too high temperature, here are some tips for you to use a backup camera kit longer in summer:

1. Park your car in a cool place to escape the heat.

2. If the temperature inside the car is too high, you can turn on the air conditioner to cool down.

3. If time permits, we should first open the doors and windows to ventilate and cool down.

4. Install the monitor in a place where it can be temporarily removed when not in use and installed when needed.

5. Blocking the front glass can effectively reduce the temperature inside the car.

6. Apply a film to the window to block the heat and ultraviolet rays inside the sun.
